The CompTIA Linux+ certification is a vendor-neutral credential designed to ensure the knowledge required for working as junior Linux administrators, systems administrators, Linux database administrators, web administrators, and junior network administrators. This certification validates that the certified candidate has the skills required to install and configure a workstation and connect it to a LAN/a stand-alone PC via modem to the Internet and perform easy maintenance tasks such as assisting users.
To become Linux+ certified candidate has to pass the XK0-004 exam.
